  • If I was married when I adopted my daughter and I was the only one to sign the papers that day because my husband had to work, does my husband have any legal rights to our daughter?
  • I live in a senior mobile home park in Phoenix, AZ and own my home. The park owner is sending threatening notices that he is making a new rule that all tenants have to provide proof of homeowners insurance and minimum coverage shall include comprehensive liability, fire and windstorm insurance, and coverage for the removal of home in case of a total loss. None of us seniors can afford this. Wouldn't the AZ Landlord and Tenant Agreement Act, ARS 33-1452 - Rules and regulations, Item B pertain to this?
  • Greetings, Of late, I had been forced to usher out of my home, "At Gun Point", a person who had been a Temp guest in my home, and Yet, said Temp Guest had made a verbal threat of shooting me in my chest, All while the temp guest had been told to leave my home, several times, and then the temp guest had conveyed his verbal threat, accompanied by his having his hand on his S&W Model 60, .357 Magnum Caliber Revolver Pistol, as the temp guest had conveyed his threat of bodily harm toward/of me, at which point I had Locked and Loaded my 1911, .45 Caliber Semi-Auto Pistol, and demanded he leave.

  • Our landlord refuses to fix our swamp cooler and the resulting problems. The swamp cooler leaks water, which has damaged the roof so that it leaks in our bedroom & closet for the last 3 years. We would like to file the 10 day repair notice but can't afford to move out. Can we file for damages while still living in the apt? Are we allowed to stay until the case is over?

  • I gave my 30 day notice on April 1st stating that I would not be renewing my lease at the end of May. I also informed the office that I'm moving out on May 8th but I'm paying rent for the whole month of May. I requested a move out inspection Friday May 8th after I take all my belongings out. I was told by the Secretary that the manager does move out inspections when he feels like it. I am unable to return for a move out inspection because I am starting a job in another town. My question is from what date do I begin counting the 14 days for my security deposit to be returned?
