  • My Husband went to school for Welding and was promissed to be certified. When graduated didn't get any of his certifications, and now stuck with a loan payment. Not sure what kind of lawyer we need to help us with this case. I was told maybe civil rights?
  • My husband and I have been married for 19 years. Common Law for 4 years and 14 years Legally Married (State of NM). We have been separated for 3 months, if I decided to divorce my husband my reason is "Adultery". We have a State Marriage Licence and we married in Navajo Nation Court. Do I file with the State of New Mexico or Navajo Nation. We have 2 children therefore child support will be filed. And can I charge my husband and his companion with "Adultery"?
  • We terminated our lease early. We gave them notice in writing. They have continued to stall getting the house rented to someone else. It was ready to be moved into at the first of the month and they won't even let a new tenant look at it until the 10th. I read that according to Ariz rev stat 33-1370 that a "landlord has a duty to find a new tenant". I'm having a problem finding that actual wording in the law. We are on the hook for rent until a new renter is found, but it seems they are preventing that.

The tenants refuse to move and have not paid rent.They only had a month to month oral agreement with the former owner. One of the tenants claims that he is on parole and cannot be evicted. Is this a valid defense to the UD action?
  • Who is responsible to repair leaking pipes inside the ceiling between two condo units? HOA or condo owner? My understanding of condo ownership is that each owner owns the air space inside the unit. Anything beyond is undivided interest owned by all the owners and the HOA.
