  • A friend of mine is about to lose his son. His ex wife is planning on taking his to her home country in Indonesia. He has gone about keeping his son here in the U.S. the legal way through the court of law. The judge is quick to grant her permission on taking their son back to Indonesia without even considering his loss. He fears for his child that is a U.S. citizen going back to a third world country. The judge seems to believe that its best for the child to go back with her. His ex wife has already told him she will be leaving in ten days and he will never see his son again.

  • We just rcvd ltr stating that our lease will not be renewed and we will have to move by end of April, 2020. The problem with that is COVID-19 and we also have four children under the age of eight with one child being on the learning spectrum. It is a very difficult time now during this pandemic to try to find another place to live, obtaining a moving company and just the stress of it all. We would still be able to pay our rent, so that isn't the problem, but do we have any rights as renters as we are renting a house not apartment at this time?

  • I got arrested for criminal damage. Girlfriend lived with me at the house I own. She is not on any paperwork on my house. She has an order of protection against me so I can not go to my house. I need to get her out. Went to judicial court to get an eviction started. They said I cannot do an eviction until I give her a written notice first. I cannot have any form of contact with her. I'm not sure what I can do. Per our verbal agreement she was to pay rent on the 10th. She did not pay. All the bills are in my name. Can I turn the utilities off until she leaves?
