QUESTIONS

  • Can the apartment management come in to my apartment and take photographs? I refused but they did it anyway, I asked him to leave and he ignored me. The photos included my entire kitchen, my pantry that I purchased and it has glass doors (not part of the apartment, a stand alone cabinet) and my bathroom. We had recent repairs but he didn't take photos in the areas repaired and refused to answer why. My personal belongings were in the photo. The apartment was very clean, nothing Out of compliance but I feel my rights were violated.

Is this true, does he nit have to fix the garage in a reasonable time frame?
  • we had no electric in one room of our rental for 9 months. It would sometimes flicker when we jumped on the floor or slammed the door. We contacted the landlord several times to repair it. We have several text messages stating such. The cost to repair was more than 50% of our rent. We gave our 30 day notice on July 2 for August 1st after months of trying to get this repaired. Our landlord checked us out on Aug 1 stating everything was perfect and we would receive all of our deposit back in 14 business days. Our total deposit was $1850- we received $300. They stated we did not give them notice
  • I was considering a move from Texas to Show Low AZ. I put a $1000 deposit and paid $445 lot fee. When I returned home in TX. I realized that downsizing from a 2300sqft home to a 900sqft trailer was not doable for me at this time. After 2 days from signing the agreement, I gave my formal written notice that I had changed my mind. Now the owner will not refund my money. What can I do. $1400 dollars is quite an amount to keep for just because. I was told they could have shown the trailer 2 times during that time, however the unit was not even ready for someone to move in.
  • What rights do I have while on Supervised Probation? It's been a year with no violations and I still have to call into TASK and I am unable to commit to my field of work because I would be leaving for work in Date land or further at 5 in the morning, and the earliest you can call in is 6. I'm on my third PO, and my first told me six months with TASk and I would be taken off. Then she disappeared for Two months with me calling 1 to 3 times a day. My cousin was killed in a car accident in CA and I wanted to go to the services, so I just went down there and she was there but still refused to see
