  • The AC went out in our rental, today. We had it serviced two weeks ago and there was nothing wrong with it then. We put in a service order as soon as our renters called but they can not get our to fix it until tomorrow. The renters went to a hotel and our expecting us to pay for it. Are we responsible for paying for their hotel room?
  • Does Arizona recognize marriages performed in other countries? ie: my husband and I were married in the Philippines 7 years ago. Last year he married a woman in Tucson, without divorsing me. Indeed, he never did tell me about his other marriage until I saw it in the public records last week!
  • In Arizona they impound your vehicle if you get pulled over and are driving on a suspended license. Does the officer have to wait for the tow company to be present before doing a tow list? I did not give consent to search.
  • What do I need to do to change one of my daughters last name. My domestic partner is not the biological father but he has been there with my daughter and i since about 3 months into my pregnancy. My daughter currently has my last name but both my partner and i want to change her last name to his. Her biological father isnt in the birth certificate nor in her life. And she is 1. What are the steps to change her last name?
  • My son is enrolled and attending Kindergarten near my home. Fathers now wants to change his school for first grade for 2017-2018. I feel our son will be established in this school with classmates etc he knows. I dont think it would be in the best interest to change schools to a half way point like fathers wants. And my daughter will be attending preschool at the school as well next year and their daycare is also down the street from school and they pick up and drop off children. My son has been at this daycare since he was 2 years old and these children attend his kindergarten class as well. Please let me know what i can do?
  • I have been in the rental house in AZ for more than 5 years. Now that I am leaving the landlord say's they are charging me late fee from past rent over the last five years. Can they do this even thoe they never said or mention rent was late and there was not late fee asked for. But in the lease it does say there is a late fee if rent is late but has never told me rent was ever late or ever ask for late fee's before me giving my notice to leave
  • I signed a lease that will start in a few days.the lease states all appliances will be provided. If upon taking possession of the Unit all appliances are not provided,do I get back my earnest money?
