Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) Profile

When a charge is filed the EEOC conducts further investigations to establish if there is evidence for the charge. If evidence is found the two parties may be offered mediation services to avoid lengthy legal processes.

  • We have 5 months left on our lease. The homeowners informed us in Jan. 2014 that they will be selling the home. We have been very accommodating for private showings. Now they want to have a open house and asked us not be present along with our dogs. We said okay with the open house but we will be there. Now they are nit picking us , we have been there for three years with NO issues whatsoever. I heard they if they want to sell it as vacant they can "buy us out" of our lease and give us moving expenses as well. Is that true?
  • How do I find free or reduced legal assistance in Mohave County?
  • On a Saturday night me and my ex got in a fight. It was nothing to big i thought. I went to bed and as I did i punched the wall and put a small hole in it. She slept on the couch. The next day i got up and she was not there. I called her to see where she was and she said that she wanted to separate. That was about 5pm on Sunday. We fought over the phone. I called her twice. Then about 8or9 the cops showed up and took my guns. Tuesday night they showed up again and kicked me out of my house and said she got a protection order against me. How is this possible? And it's for a year.

We are based in the UK but I have family in Arizona who will attend on my behalf and we feel that a simple claim might just be ignored. Question is : How can we best ensure that we will have maximum clout when approaching the reclaimation of our monies? If your answer is to employ a lawyer, may we have a list local to Tucson, thank you
