  • I purchased a used car from a car dealership after 5 days and less than 500 miles the transmission goes out. The dealer is saying I need to pay for all parts. I was under the assumption that he pays For the car repair

  • I have a 3plex in AZ that is about to go into foreclosure. I was told by an Attorney that if the lender does not come after us with in 90 days of the foreclosure date by law they cannot come after us in other words sue us. Is this true?
  • Because of the current coronavirus pandemic both my daughter and son-in-law will be laid off indefinitely. Their current lease ends 6/15/20. They notified rental office that they would like to end lease 6 weeks early (end of April) because of this financial hardship. They will live with us until things get back to normal. They have given rental company 45 day notice that they will vacate apartment at the end of April. Rental company is telling them that they will have to pay 2 month penalty for breaking a lease 6 weeks early. This does not sound right during this healthcare emergency!
  • Can a landlord, as part of the lease, require the tenant to agree to only require 12 hours entry notice? Our new lease includes a provision that acknowledges the appropriate section of the ARS, but does not mention the 'two days' requirement. Quoted here... "Tenant agrees that Landlord, its agents and contractors, shall have the right to enter into the leased premises, or any portion thereof, upon twelve (12) hours oral or written notice to Tenant, for the purpose of inspecting the same or performing such repairs or maintenance as the Landlord deems reasonably necessary.
  • Can the county foreclose on my condo due to non-payment of RE taxes?
  • The main sewer line serving the home gets totally blocked 4 times in 7 months. Each time the owner's home warranty company unblocks it, usually within 12 hrs, until it happens again. Each time all toilets, showers and sinks are unusable. Can the own be required to correct the blockage to prevent this from occurring so frequently?
  • My sister in law is pregnant and not married. She does not wish to be with the babies father and will be doing a paternity test when the baby is born. If the test comes back that he is the parent, does she have to make the babies last name the same as his in order to get child support? If he signs his parental rights away, does he still have to pay child support?
  • Our grandaughter has lived in our home since birth. Parents used to live with us, the moved out in March but did not take the baby. She is currently still living in our home, they have moved 3 different times since March. Mom is a minor she was arrested for domestic violence, but charges were dropped. Father was in jail for domestic violence too but charges were dropped. We provide for the baby and take care of her 95% of the time what is the chance of gaining custody?
