  • If a relative has lived in your home for than a year and domedtic violence was involved, do i have to give her notice before I get rid of her belongings
  • For over a year my roommates and I have had a reoccurring mice problem. We keep areas clean, take out the trash regularly, and have never caused any sort of damage to our property. Our rental property will only put down traps and do not make any major effort to eradicate the problem with mice. How can we get them to move forward in paying for extermination and an expert to identify where the mice are coming in?

The connection is something that needs to get replaced every year. Is my landlord right? Am I responsible for the water bill increase?

He faces a hearing is there anyway I can stop this from happening,
  • My son's father and I have had a verbal mutual agreement with him helping me with child support so we would not have to deal with the court. We are still "legally married". He has another kid and is paying child support through the court, which then brought my case as well. The day of the ruling the judge asked if I agreed to have dad pay back child support from three years ago, which I said yes. Can I waive the back pay order, once it has been placed without having to interfere with the current monthly child support ruling?

  • I am renting a home from a Out of state owner our lease states that rent is due on first of each month.Owner Has us send checks for rent to Wifes' Mother that lives about ten miles away.If we send check out in mail when is it considered sent.If its been stamped at post office around end of previous momth is it considered sent owner insists rent is due on 1st regardless of holidays weekends etc.. insists instead of mailing it out I have to run it to her mother which is out of way to from & from work.Do I have any legal backing as far as this is concerned hard to find info.
  • As a former tenant. I did not have a final walk through with former landlord. He repeated said I didnt have to be present. I met with him after he sent me an itemized repair list. When I showed up to property. To my knowledge all of the repairs he itemized where repaired. He did most of the work. I never had a final walk through nor sign of on the damages he is charging me for. Nor was I allowed to fix the problem myself. He simply took it upon himself to fix the problems before I had an opportunity to fix myself. Did he violate my rights?
