I was convicted of felony theft on July 3 2000, in Yavapai county .At sentencing, the judge said to me. "After you complete probation, come back and see me, and we will take this off your record". I called the court after completing probation. To do what was told to me by the judge. The court of Yavapai told me, " I have no idea as to what it is that we can do for you". Your convicted, is a conviction of law, there's nothing to do for you. Last year I mailed a request to have a say in this matter. I was given a court date. I could not make this date 4/28 . I received a letter saying to bad.

I have a 5 year old and she has my maiden name as her last name (her biological father is not in the picture and never has been) I recently got married and would like to hyphenate her last name with my maiden name and my married name. How would I go about doing that? Is it possible to do without her "fathers" permission since I couldn't even tell you where he is?

My child's mother did not put me on the birth certificate. I have had a hostile relationship with her and was forced to give 100% of my paycheck just to see my daughter the first 3 years, leaving me with no room to pay legal fees to establish paternity and support. She also has not filed for support. I have not been in contact with the mother in 3 years nor has she been in contact with me. At this point, I would like to sever my parental rights even though I am not legally established as the father so I can move on with my life. Is this possible?

I've read that Az. doesn't recognize common law marriage. However, I can't find information to clarify what occurs with a partnership after a given number of years. I've been cohabitating with a lady for 7 years, and recently was told "you've been together long enough that everything you have is community property." I'm concerned about our separate investments that we each have willed to our respective children. Thanks for any information you might be able to provide.

My 25yr old daughter was with a guy she now has two kids with. He's had her arrested and put a order of protection on her for him and their daughter. She is going thru family court to get back her parenting rights. While this was going on she was pregnant with their 2nd child except he didn't know, now he knows and is requesting.a paternity test. Can he take this new baby away from her? How can she protect her new baby from him? I'm afraid he will take Jim from her and it will break her heart. She's a good mom & he's a good liar.
