QUESTIONS

  • I asked a question in Sep 2019 about being able to see my grandson. Daughter and her husband are still married and he is controlling her. What legal recourse do I have. PLEASE RESPOND AS IT HAS BEEN MONTHS SINCE I ASKED THIS QUESTION!!!
  • Why is a warrant being issued for a case I failed to pay the fines completely for 7 years after it happened
  • I am a legal, permanent resident of the United States, not a citizen of the United States. I want to change my first name. Can I do this here? If so, how can I change it on my documentation of legal status and residence here?
  • My father in law had a stroke in April of 2013 and has been unable to pay his credit card debts including a home equity line of credit through State Farm. He owns a home here here in Phx but has since been relocated to be with other family members in Napa, Ca. in a group home. He receives his usual SS benefits and a small pension of $120 per month, he is also getting his aid and attendance from the V.A. The problem is this, all of his benefits go to his care and he is unable to pay his credit card debts. Since he is no longer living here we are paying his house payment along with the State Farm home equity line of credit since that is like a second mortgage I believe. My question is how do we keep the house in the family and eliminate his credit card debt? which is probably around $20,000. The house doesn't have any equity in it or if it does, it's not much. Thank You
  • There is a huge tree between my trailer & next door. It was here when I bought trailer. I am told the tree is my responsible, but it is on the trailer courts land. The tree sheds leaves like crazy & we were just informed that it is up to us to rack and throw in trash. We have maintenance here & they do nothing, but ride the little cars the trailer court supplys. What I need to know is it my responsabilty, to rack. I am 64yrs.and not in that good health. Can you let me know if it is up to me to keep tree up or Trailer court. Thank-You RS.
  • I bought a house and renting my smaller house. I am retired now and need to sell my bigger house. Can I terminate the renters lease so I can move back into my smaller house that I can afford?
  • Is it worth it to file small claims for deposit that has not been returned, with the landlord living in another state and to also have additional charges for not sending letter why deposit wasn't refunded and for entering residence without prior knowledge or permission? How do I start the process?
  • Does AZ expedite people back to their home states because they willing unpaided child support?
  • I have a credit card debt from 2004 that has been sold to a collector. Can there be garnishment to wages or just go after assets. Was served papers today. There was already a judgement about a year ago. Now I go another one.
  • My teenage daughter and I were both arrest for domestic violence and both of us were prosecuted. Same case yet we were both identified as defendants which very effectively eliminated any accountability especially by the courts to address "Victim's Rights" at all. The words "dominate aggressor" does not exist , at least not in the statues in AZ. So my question is: How do the courts justify this? Is this ethical? Every justification so far has been absolutely absurd. Have you thought this through at all? Obviously: no victim, double fees, more income, more DV programs as Dual arrests increase
