Our leasing company who operates nation wide told me their contractors are legally obligated to tell them if they see or hear pets. (We don’t have one but our neighbors does, these houses are squished together) now they are trying to force fees with out me signing anything. It feels like an invasion, one of these dates this has been “recorded” was today while I’m at work. We haven’t requested for anything to be fixed. Is this legally allowed?

We have moved out of our rental and the move out inspection was done without us being present and they said everything looked fine. We have lived in the residence for 3 years. During this time we chipped the counter which is granite countertops and now the owner is talking about us paying for replacement of a entire new countertop. The chip is about the size of a quarter and our deposit was $900.00. Is this something the owner can do and can they come after me beyond my security deposit?

I am the guardian of my 2 grandchildren (their mother is my oldest daughter) she had been in a domestic violence situation with the kids dad (he is in prison until July 2016) she lives with friends, no job, possible drugs. He does drugs and has a new girlfriend pregnant. I do not want either of them to obtain children EVER. What can I do to protect the kids and myself since Arizona tends to want to reunite children and parents. This is not a good idea with either of the biological parents. I love them to much to have them suffer. Guardian since 2010, they are age 9 and 6. suggestions?

I gave revocable guardianship to my mom when I moved out of state so the kids could finish that school year and I started my new job. Now that I have petitioned to revoke guardianship, she is suing me for custody. I am so far and not sure how to handle this.

In 2001 I co-signed with my daughter to purchase a single-wide mobile home. She lived in the mobile home for 13yrs. It's financed with XXXX located in Tennessee, and there's still a balance of $16,000. My daughter had to move out due to her family increasing and the need for more room. I'm a retired senior citizen and do not have the money to pay for it. What can I do to keep it from being on my credit report?

I recently found out I am paying for the electric in the laundry room that everyone else uses. Is this considered a breach in contract, if I pay my own utilities. The realty company said they will take $25 off the rent each month or to move out, is this violating my rights as a tenant?
