QUESTIONS

  • Good Afternoon, I'm a Senior at NAU and a retired Marine. I have an arrangement set for 9/5/2018, in Surprise AZ. This is a DUI charge that took place 5/2017. I blew a 0.00 but was instructed to give a urine sample. I want to take this case into veterans court in Flagstaff. I want this different venue because I live and go to school here in Flagstaff. How can I go by doing this? Thank you for your time.
  • I had my baby two months ago, she was "unnamed baby" on her birth certificate. I gave them her father's information. I went to give them her name at the Vital Records Office, but it couldn't be done because her father has to sign and noterize an affadavit. I don't know where he is and my daughter needs her birth certificate. I was told that I need a court order for her to be named, how do I go about doing that?
  • Informed my complex that I was shopping for a house 7 months ago. At that time I asked what was needed to break the leases, afraid I would have to pay both a lease and a mortgage. They told me I would just be responsible for a 60 day notice and a fine of approximately $45 for every month I received a discounted rate by signing a 13 month lease. I learned the day before the prorated rent was due, I was also responsible for a full months rent, I do not have the funds. I paid the prorated. Is there a standard of time that I can make payments before it goes to collections? Please help.

  • My sister in law came to stay with us from CA because we didn't want her to be homeless....we allowed her to stay here so that she could have time to get a job and find a place for herself. She is not on the lease and doesn't pay rent nor has there ever been rent spoken of because this was supposed to be temporary. She did have her mail forwarded to herself her. Since moving in we have found out she is actively using street drugs and is not making efforts to help herself and has become increasingly hostile and verbally abusive. Can she still be removed as a guest...the police said no. Help.

  • Can I request to get custody of my daughter through the court if 1. her mother cannot support her, she doesn't have a job. Her mother is also not following the court orders regarding visitation.
