QUESTIONS

  • My boyfrhhiend has told me that he does not have any connection to our daughter. He has indicated that he is going to leave and has no interest in seeing her. Should I file for full custody even though he has no interest in any custody? What would I need to do to get it started?
  • I emailed my landlord and gave him a 30 day notice and he emailed back and accepted it. Now he says I have to pay another month rent and send a certified letter stating when I am going to leave. I have all the corresponding email even the one where he is trying to intimidate me. my husband retired from the marines and had to leave for another job in WA State and we had to stay behind because he is making us pay another month or longer. Is this legal
  • can i be fired from a job because of a domestic violence conviction. even though its been set aside?
  • After signing a lease back in March 2014 for 13 months for a certain price, the company now is saying that they made a 2% tax mistake and making every resident pay the extra from now on...it just seems to me once the lease is signed they couldn't raise the rent....so can an apt complex do that?
  • When my son was born my boyfriend signed the paternity affidavit saying that he was the father but I had full custody over my son. Now we are separated and he wants partial custody over him. What steps do we have to go through in order to make that happen?
  • I have decided that it is safe for my son to be able to see his dad without the visitation being supervised by myself or someone I deem appropriate which is stated in our divorce decree. I have sole legal and physical custody. How do I go about changing the order so that visitation does not require supervision so that I can't get in trouble?
  • My granddaughter's aunt is in the process of getting guardianship of her . Currently her and her husband have temp guardianship for 6 months. I want to take my granddaughter to disneyland for a long weekend but the granddaughter's aunt says that the court has to approve her leaving the state first . Is this true ?
  • My husband was recently arrested for sexually abusing my daughters. He is currently in jail awaiting trial for 3 class 6 felony charges. Of course I want a divorce, but I want to make sure that I proceed in a way that will most benefit my five children. I want to protect them from their father (get sole custody), and I want to do what will help us most financially. So is it best to file divorce papers immediately or to wait until he is convicted? If he is convicted does all of his property revert to me if we are still married? I am thinking long term, I know that I won't be receiving any child support so if the property doesn't revert to me on his conviction, is it likely that courts will give me all the community property in lieu of child support? Thank you.
  • If you are under a deferred adjudication on domestic violence charges are you still allowed to purchase a firearm. Went to court was put on a "deferred sentencing" which stated charges would be dropped after I completed program. Was never told to relinquish my current firearms and was never told that I could not purchase any. Just curious of your thoughts. Thanks You
  • I was told by the rental company that Arizona passed a new law that if a person has a protective order they can get out of their lease. Is this true?
