I paid off her car and sold home but this account is still open and Capital one will not release money.
  • My Son fathered 2 children with a lady who was married to someone else at the time of birth. She listed her husband as the father on the birth certificate. She was killed in an accident recently and was still legally married at the time , but had been seperated from her husband and lived with my son for 5 years. Her husband and her had filled out & had notarized a from called voluntary paternity , but never listed my son as the father , he did aknowledge he was not the father. My son had dna test done and they do show he is the biological father. How does he get the name changed on the birth certficate. He has the children , that is not an issue , just want to make sure all is legal in the eyes of the courts/state.How do we proceed ?
  • I moved into a manufactured house on the first of april with two small dogs. In the lease it states that I can have two small dogs and two domestic cats. The other day my landlord came and verbally told me I could not keep my dogs in doors at night and if I do I have 30 days to move out. Can he do that? It says nothing in my lease about not being able to bring them in at night. I understand he doesn't want them roaming around inside while Im at work all day!! dog's are house trained. He wants me to write a letter stating I want to move out because of this.

  • About 2 months ago, I trusted my car to someone I thought was a friend because they claimed to need transportation to their job. I have not seen my car since and this person broke off all communication. I have no idea where either this person or my car are. The police will not help because I gave this person the keys. They say it's a civil matter and to file a suit. How can a suit be filed if the whereabouts of the person are unknown. I need to know what my options are and want this person held accountable for stealing my car.
