QUESTIONS

  • How should we be holding title to our home if we want our children, from prior marriages, to inherit our respective portions of community property? Currently it is CPWROS. I know this is wrong as my daughter will get nothing if I pass first.

  • My 2 daughters reside at clear creek apartments flagstaff...they pay 1250 a month for their apartment. In the amenities it list HEAT is one the items provided in the apartment. They have a THERMOSTAT SWITCH in the apartment. When they did their walk through they were instructed to turn on to be sure it was in working order it WASNOT they told management and have NOT RECEIVED ANY response. They have been told nothing about it. I have sent emails and placed phone calls to have no response. What can we do. They are freezing. Short of buying space heaters for every room and run the risk of fire

We never received a signed completed lease agreement to this date, I have sent numerous requested for return or written conformation of deposit status.   • My divorce was settled on May 20, 2009. We have 50/50 custody of our 13 year old son. No child support was assigned because we both were working and made similar incomes. I lost my job on June 20, 2009 would I be able to get child support from my x-husband with the 50/50 custody until I find another job?

How much should the lease buy out amount be? She is offering me $1000.00, I currently pay $1050.00 monthly for rent and have always been on time.
  • it has been 31 days since we have moved out. 4 days after we moved out the landlord scheduled an inspection date to give back our deposit and for us to turn in the keys to the dwelling. 8 days after we moved out we had the inspection with the landlord. at the inspection we gave the landlord the keys. after going through the house with cell phone lights (the power was turned off) the landlord said she wanted to reschedule during daylight. that was 27 days ago and they won't return our calls at all. do i need to send them a security deposit request letter or can i just take them to small claims.
