QUESTIONS

  • Our landlords sent us an email stating that we have to pay for professional cleaning or they will take $450 from our security deposit. From the research I have done, I understand that this is illegal and we are only obligated to deep clean it and leave it in the same condition as when we moved in. Do we have to professionally clean or not?
  • I have rented a room in a house for the last 2 years. I have never had a lease or rules & regulations given to me either. Can my landlord tell me I can't have company over? Company is my kids, 41, 36 and 35
  • I have sold my manufactured home (Personal property?) on a rented lot in AJ. Are there any rules or regulations as to who and how the check for the sale is sent to me? Can my broker and/or agent deposit the money for me in an account if I'm not able to attend the closing? Thank you.
  • My former landlord has not filed a satisfaction of judgment for a matter that was completed 2 yrs ago. She has not responded to my attempts and I can't get an answer as to what I need to file.
  • I have lost my pin and number to pay my child support so i can't access child support office. how would I go on getting it again. I moved out of state and can't just go into the child support office. And I do want to pay my child support
  • If both parents agree to 50/50 custody and neither want to pay or recieve child support what is the law? Will one of the parents have to pay some amount?
  • Orig divorce decree and child support orders were in AZ. I now live in WA state with our child; father remains in AZ. Our child will be 18 next year but will graduate at age 19 from HS. He is deemed disabled. Father and I are in agreement re: extending child support beyond HS through community college and longer, if necessary. We know what to do re: notifying the OCSE that the child will be a full-time student in HS beyond 18. What we don't know how to handle is extending beyond HS. Do we modify existing decree/child support or new petition for this thru Superior Court in Mohave Cty? Thanks.
  • I am currently covered by my spouses insurance coverage and our divorce has not been filed yet. ARS 20-1377 and 20-1408 state that I may continue to be covered under his health insurance policy. I have contacted the health care company and NO ONE is able to assist me with this. I've looked online for answers and there are none. How to I apply for a conversion policy?
  • My daughter will be 5 in August of this year. There is no father on her burth certificate, and the biological father has never been in contact. I married when she was a year old and her step father has been her father. I want to change her name to her step fathers name. He is thr only father she has ever known ad rhey love each other dearly.
  • I was out on deployment when my vehicles safety inspection sticker expired and my truck got towed from my parking spot at home and was impounded. I never missed a payment and could not afford to pay the impound cost when i returned home from deployment and Navy Federal credit Union would do nothing to help me get my vehicle back. That was back in 2009 i believe, and Navy Federal Credit Union has been trying to collect the remaining $7000 on the loan from me which i do not have and have never had. i do not even have a job right now. What can be done about this? i feel cheated!
