QUESTIONS

  • I'm 16 year old female in the state of Texas I live with a man that is not my biological father can I move out
  • I worked for an AC company and during that time of my employment my AC needed service. They fixed it at a discount price and we agreed that I would make weekly payment until the balance is paid. Well I was terminated before being able to pay off the balance. My question is can they withhold that from my final paycheck? Also they're charging me for a price book that I dont have and some uniforms that were missing but I turned in whatever uniforms I had. Can they withhold that as well?
  • My landlords son has a office downstairs from my apartment there is 4 apartments. He is never there beyond 6 pm and never calls for the rent we have to track him down to pay him and he will only take cash he posted a note in the hallway that stated he will start adding late fees if payment is 5 days late 50.00 and 100.00 if paid after the 15th how can he just start doing that if he is never around to collet the rent? Also I live on the 1st floor and have a child under 10 should I have window guards on my windows?
  • I AM THE LANDLORD. SOME ONE BROKE INTO MY TENANTS (AND THEY THINK THEY KNOW WHO IT WAS). THE SLIDING GLASS DOOR WS SHATERED. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE TO REPLACE THE DOOR...THE LANDLORD OR THE TENANTS?
  • how can i file for child support
  • My severely disabled (non verbal, non ambulatory) 20 year old son’s health status has declined to the point that his mom and I have agreed not to take any extraordinary intervention. He is being followed at home by Hospice of the Valley. We are being challenged by the treating hospitals to produce a medical POA to recovery his medical records. Given his current medical status the possibility of him surviving more than a couple of weeks are doubtful. Is there an easy and inexpensive way to get guardianship of him and should we?
  • Can a son sign over his house to his father if he can no longer afford to make the payments?
  • My daughter is 9. She hates that she has to go to her dads every weekend (per current custody agreement) I have filed a modification. How can the judge take in consideration her feelings on the matter?
  • My Landlord has started Eviction proceedings and has become quite vicious about the whole issue. I do not dispute the fact that I am late with the rent. (Serious Medical Issues arose) and have been attempting to make arrangements for the arrears and current amounts due. He is refusing to discuss that option. He is now adding that I am a problem to the other neighbors, in addition huge maintenance list he has told me has cost the landlord undue stress and hardship. I have over 100 pictures available to show the condition upon move in and he refuses to see them as well. Opinions? Regards, KFP
  • I got granted temporary sole legal decision making of my daughter but during this case I got into a car accident with my other daughter, I was not the driver or passenger and had no illegal part in this accident. Now my daughters father is telling me he has temporary sole custody and I cannot see her at all. He has domestic violence and was told that sole custody was not an option in our case for him. He got a lawyer and we made a settlement so it would be easier for me because the accident ruined everything with my life and I signed it but she told us that we needed to get it notarized.
