QUESTIONS

  • I have been raising my step-son since he was three. Me and my husband broke up. My step-son is 14 now. He wants to live with the only mom hes ever known. Hes only a child. D.N.A. doesn't matter to him. Do I have any rights? Any advice would be helpful.
  • I have sole legal custody of my 3 kids my ex has supervised visits, I am not allowed to move 100 miles from where I did when our divorce finalized without permission. Am I allowed to take my kids on vacation out of town or state, or do I have to get permission from the court?
  • I am new to Arizona so I am not aware, but I move here in August listed in my lease it says my rent in $874.00 the amount for taxes is not listed however I am charged taxes. Also my lease says if I am late on my rent after the 2nd there is a late fee of $50 and thereafter it will be $10. After the 5th day I received a 5 day notice on my door in which they charged me $25 for putting a 5 day notice on my door and they taxed the $25. That amount is not in my lease. Is this legal? shouldn't both the tax amt and the 5 day notice fee be listed in my lease?
  • Can new manager file 24 hour immediate eviction for unpaid rent. I don't have proof rent paid.
  • I am married but have been separated (no legal separation filed) from my husband for 4 years. I have now had a baby with my boyfriend and the hospital won't name the father on the birth cert. They insist AZ law says it has to be her legal husband by default. Is this true? What do we do?
  • I am a legal resident since 1991. I left the US for 1 year to study in Australia. Have I lost my 5 continous years in the us to apply for citizenship?
  • My 84 year old mother is no longer capable of living alone due to several disabilities. She will need to break her lease. The property management company is threatening to hold her responsible for the 6 months remaining on the lease. Does the fact that she cannot live alone any longer allow her to break the lease with a smaller penalty?
  • who can I call for a ride to doctor
  • where is the office located and the number
  • What are my rights as a tenant in an apartment complex, if the property management fails to take care of my rodent issue? I have lived here for 6 months now and the issue has been reoccurring the last month and a half.
