QUESTIONS

  • Can the lease be broken if its infested with cockroaches and my health is at stake? I have a dr.'s note showing that i i am allergic to their feces.
  • I have been renting a house for the past 4 months and last night the landlord showed up and starting moving her stuff in , can she do that? How do I stop it? I called the police and they said I couldn't do anything about it.

  • I recently moved into a apartment on 3/9/2018, after being fully moved in by 430pm on 3/09/18. by 1230am i observed that the apt just leased to me less than 10hours ago was infested with bed bugs. i provided a written notification by email informing the management of my findings and ask for it be taken care of asap. owners refused to pay for a hotel while waiting for treatment. once treatment was finished it took another 3-4days to replaced the tile and shampoo the carpet. as of today i still have a bed bug problem.. what can i do about this. its clear the apt had this before i moved in. help!
  • I have a tenant with a one year lease, the lease will expired in another 4 months, but the tenant has neglected to report damages cause by water leaks on the roof, and most of my ceilings are falling down, I have extensive damages due to the tenant not notifying of the water leaks, I will very much like to give her 30 days notice to leave the premises, it's going to cost me lots of money to make the repairs and since the leaks are being going on for so long my homeowners insurance wont paid for them, can I send a Unconditional Quit form to the tenant?   • I just have one question. A week ago my supervisior came to the job site on Sunday and he was clearly under the influence. He made a comment to me that someone needs to be fired and that this is not Poland where you ride donkeys and play Mickey Mouse games. Yes I am Polish and this just rubbed me the wrong way. I just want to know if I have a chance to file a case against the employer?
  • I had a job as a property manager which one of the perks was a free apartment. I was arrested off property for an non-work related reason. I spent four days in jail. The charges were later dropped. When I returned from jail, I was fired and locked out of my apartment. I believe it was wrongful termination, but that's another matter. My question is even though I was an employee, am I still not covered under the Arizona Landlord/Tenant Act? I think I should have had a 10 day Notice to Vacate.
