Last year March17, 2014, she was arrested for domestic violence( class 6 undesignated felony), ( discharging a firearm at her boyfriend),and received supervised probation, 3 yrs. In June of 2015, she was once again arrested for violation of probation and placed on IPS and extensive probation till 2017. • I co-own property in CA. There are 3 of us still living on the title, myself, my brother and 1 other lady. I need to sell at least my portion ASAP, but cannot get the woman to even acknowledge my attempts to contact her. I spoke to her once and she seemed very nice and said she would help in any way. Since then she has not answered any of my calls or letters. My question is, do I need a lawyer to help convince her to co-operate, and if so, do I need to get one in AZ. or CA.? If I don't need a lawyer, can you please tell me where I can get help with this matter. She lives in CA. Thank-you.

  • I'm an owner/landlord of a single family home, which I rented to an individual with an option to purchase. He never exercised the option, and eventually defaulted on rent, and moved out. Problem is I recorded in the public record a document showing that he paid an amount toward the purchase of the house. I should not have done this because now I cannot refinance or sell the property due to a 'cloud on title. I contacted former renter to sort out issue, but he refuses to cooperate - leaving me stuck. What are my options ? Thx
