  • Dear Sir or Madam, I am from the netherlands. I have been deported from the Stat for in may 2011 fro 10 years, because I I staid longer than my permit. I have a girl friend who is willing to merry me to bring me back from the Netherlands in to the stat. Is that posible and the immigration will let me live in the state? I don't have any felony neither any bad records in the state. thank you in advance. peace me
  • My house has rats and landlord hired an exterminator who laid bait under the wood floors and the rats died in the house. The house now smells putrid and my landlord refuses to hire someone to remove the rats. I don't know what to do, I can't even stay in my own house. Also after I read through our rental agreement I noticed that she has snuck in little clause stating that if I take any type of legal action towards her she has the right to evict me. Is any of this legal?!

  • Can I withhold my rent from my landlord if there is mold in my trailer? I noticed there was mold growing around my sons cooler in his room (a/c unit) , I notified the landlord and told him about it and he promised he would send someone on that money (it’s been 3 weeks now). My son is 9 and has to sleep in the living room because of this problem , I also recently had a baby(she’s 6 months) and would hate for her to get sick from this. What legal action can I take? Also before we moved in we were promised that they would switch out the old bathtub for a new one and new flooring but nothing.
  • I have lived in a residence in Arizona since 2007. The lease expired in 2009 and by agreement with the owner was allowed to live without a lease and rent free since then. The owner is now trying to get me to sign a new lease or "evict" me. I have continuously maintained the residence and spent money out of pocket for upkeep including major purchases such as replacing the a/c unit, removing trees damaged by storms, painting, etc. Also paid back taxes for a year when the house was close to tax sale. What are my rights?
  • I have been living in a house since the end of May 2019 and when I came into the house there were many things wrong with it. Non functioning doors, windows, blinds, and several holes in the door that have been patched up with something that my son is allergic too and my youngest baby girl keeps picking at because its bubbly and she keeps eating it if I am not looking. I have asked them to repair several things since I have been here and they have not sent anyone and now are refusing to repair. The sink doesn't produce hot water upstairs. My toilet has been leaking. What can I do?
  • I have a service dog and was recently informed that my apartment cannot charge me rent for him. However, at the time of my move in, I was unaware of this and the landlord did not make this known to me so I have paid $20 a month pet rent for the past two years. Am I entitled to reimbursement? They say it was not their responsibility to inform me and that they are not obligated to inform tenants of this exception. And that it was my responsibility to know this about my dog and to inform them. They are no longer charging me as of July as I have now documented that the dog is exempt
