QUESTIONS

  • Im separated not yet divorced. We lived in Arizona then agreed to move to Colorado last August. While in Colorado she was verbally abusive, she cheated and at one point hit me in front of our son and daughter. I told her I no longer wanted to be with her. She took the kids back to Arizona.I only allowed this because she said she would send them to me in January, yet never did.I have emails to prove hitting&leaving agreement. Also of her saying I cant skype the kids unless I sends money, though I have been biweekly.I want custody but dont have the funds right now. Where can I start?
  • I met with a landlord of an RV Park yesterday have an RV park we looked at a spot for my RV I went and got a money order for the amount he told me would be the rent for a week that we agreed to bring my RV in this morning and get it hooked up when I went home he called me about 15 minutes later told me that someone from where I lived currently had called and said if you rented to me because of my son it would be bad so he cancelled told me he would could not rent to me anymore so now I have a money order made out to him that I can't even get my money back on is there any discrimination here
  • I was curious as to what the law is regarding not being under any signed lease for renting a house. The landlord is causing issues and I'd like to vacate without notice. Thank you,
  • What if my child has no father listed on the birth certificate,I don't want a paternity test, and I have handled ALL of his medical care for his condition since he was born and he lives with me, do I need to file for custody of my son even though I have it, it's just not legal through a court?
  • My father passed and my sister had a beneficiary deed that made the home hers. I've lived there for 7 years and provided care for my father during that time. She is now trying to evict me and my father's only been gone for two weeks. She's entering the house and removing property and even drilled out the lock to my bedroom door. She's installed cameras to watch the house from outside. What are my rights?
  • Hello I was wondering if I lost my Yuma, AZ Food Stamps card in Yuma and never got through to anyone about trying to get it back how would i do that it had new cash on it and i do not know how to get it back please help thank you...
  • I was married thru the Catholic Church. Got divorced thru the state 5 years ago, but have not gone thru the church to get the marriage annulled. Legally, do I need to do this before I remarry?
  • I agreed to let two people live with me but they don't pay rent or any bills. I can no longer afford the bills it's them there. They were supposed to leave on the 20th. Now they are leaving windows open increasing my bills. Can I lock them out? They have not received mail.
  • My teenage daughter and I were both arrest for domestic violence and both of us were prosecuted. Same case yet we were both identified as defendants which very effectively eliminated any accountability especially by the courts to address "Victim's Rights" at all. The words "dominate aggressor" does not exist , at least not in the statues in AZ. So my question is: How do the courts justify this? Is this ethical? Every justification so far has been absolutely absurd. Have you thought this through at all? Obviously: no victim, double fees, more income, more DV programs as Dual arrests increase
  • If a tenant only gives one week notice of early termination of the lease, is the landlord obligated to give back the full security deposit? It is stated in the lease that Any notice to terminate this tenancy must comply with the applicable legislation of the State of Arizona."
