QUESTIONS

  • We notified landlord we are terminating our lease that is effective through September 08. We actually vacated the house June 11. We asked landlord to find another tenant that could move in before out lease is up so we can get out of our lease early. Landlord said they were looking for new tenant but then said they wanted their friends to move in Jan. 09. They are playing with our money now by not looking for a new tenant. Can they do that?
  • I was convicted of a 2 felonies (non-dangerous and non-repetitive) about 19-20 years ago. I'd like to now change my name but am concerned this might be a hang up. The reason i wish to change my name is simple. I don't like it, never have. most people who know me call me by the name i wish to use (first name anyway). what should I anticipate as objections or concerns? By the way, have only had one traffic ticket in the past 20 years.

Is the owner responsible to pay for my medical bills? He says he's not because I was under a contract which is not true I never signed any contract at all with him, just a verbal to weed eat the property and pick up track for a free booth for the the year that was all I was suppose to do. thanks for your response
  • Have two homes, Glendale & Surprise, was living in the Glendale home until wife passed away, on 10/2006, moved to other home in Surprise right after death of Wife. Moved out of home in Glendale due to the pain so I moved to our other home in Surprise leaving my son to live in the Glendale home. During the healing time, my real estate income went so low that I lost the home to foreclosure in May of 2008, which I accepted keys for cash from Ocwen, and moved back to Glendale home. Does the home in Surprise qualify for Mortgage Forgiveness Debt Relief, since I was living there for 1 1/2 years.

So my name is primary on the Loan contract. After that he decides to leave me he takes our truck and blocks me so I can’t speak to him. He refuses to pay the loan payments. He also has our truck. I don’t think I should have to pay for a truck I no longer drive . They want the truck or their money ? What should I do?
  • My daughter has several psychological diagnosis' & gave birth to a premature son. She is not married & unsure who child's father is. The baby is in the NICU & mother does not fully understand the care guidelines given by NICU staff & doctors. Mother does not allow family access to the baby in the NICU as she does not trust her boyfriend's family. How can obtain a Medical Power of Attorney over the child as my daughter does not understand his needs & enforce visitation to the baby in the NICU? I fear for the baby's well being in his mother's lack of care & visitation at the NICU.
