I was a stay-at-home mom for the majority of my marriage. During that time I accrued some student loans. In our separation agreement we each agreed to pay half of that, and any other, debt. A lawyer I spoke with stated that I am eligible for alimony (we were married 9 years and I stayed home for 6 of them), but my spouse takes great exception to this. He believes that since I did not contribute, monetarily, I should not be entitled to alimony. What should my expectations be?

I am the single mother of a severly multiply disabled child. Before moving to Phoenix last year I lost conservatorship of my son's estate. Had no option moving in with my parents. I am 51 not 17! My dad continually opens and reseals my mail! I have no proof to back me up. What should I do? I am 17 years old, currently 7 months away from being 18. My parents do not want me visiting my boyfriend who lives about 15 miles away from me on the weekends. I am determined to walk that distance every weekend and back, but never stay the night. My mother wants to forcibly keep me from going. I would never miss school if I did this. My Step-Mother has brought another man into my fathers household. The man who she claimed is her friend is now more than a friend. My step-mother and this man sleep together and my father knows about it. The problem I have is this man has a 10 page criminal history and he also is an alcoholic. Him and my step-mom get drunk and take my fathers car and don't return until the next day. There are four children living there as well and hear and see this man threaten my father.
