QUESTIONS

  • If I feel I earned more than I was paid, is there a government organization I can call to confirm that?
  • I've paid a security deposit of $300 for my apt. and have a receipt. The landlord is increasing the amount to $400 and says I owe another $100! I say no! You can charge new tenants whatever you want that's legal, but you can't increase my amount after the fact. Please let me know if I must pay the additional $100. Thank you.
  • I purchased a farm using two different private loans(no banks). One loan was on a promissory note. Animals were used as the collateral on the note. Having defaulted on the note, I have turned over all the animals to the party owed. Is there an Arizona law or case that establishes the turnover of collateral as discharge of the note? Can you recommend a method for me to find this specific information. Thanks
  • I had a roommate who was on a lease for a home we rented. Roommate never paid rent and was physically and verbally abusive to me and my 14 ye old son. Roommate said she was moving out multiple times but never did when deadline came. Roommate agreed to a lease amendment and move out in 30days but never signed. Instead roommate got an order of protection and had me & my son removed from home. eviction occurred. Paid writ of restitution and geot new lease. While barred from premise roommate stole $20 of property $3k of which was 3rd party‚Äôs. Is the 3rd party property theft criminal or civil?
  • House financed in mobile park with lot rent. Shortly after moving into my mobile home park, they let my neighbor get a dog. This dog violates half of the park rules pertaining to pets. It's over the 16" and probably 40lb. limit, They leave it outside, unattended, it barks for hours at a time both when the neighbors are home, and when they are not. The neighbors, pretend not to understand English when I try to talk to them. I have complained about the dog hundreds of times to park management, they have done nothing about the dog. What are my options?
  • I sent the Notice of non payment via certified mail, and my tenants haven't picked up the mail from the post office. When Can I file the forcible detainer?
  • Say you live with someone, or vice-versa.. (who's name is NOT on the Lease) & they petition for an Order of Protection against you & they also filled out the paperwork using your address. How does this work exactly, when it's YOUR address?
  • My father passed away in September, 2016. I am the executor of his estate and I have a lawyer representing me and the estate. His house is paid off but he has a 7,000 home equity line of credit. There is no money in the estate to pay any bills except the utilities. It is for sale and hopefully will be sold soon. I received an Act 91 notice. Can a house be foreclosed on that is in probate? There is no money to pay the home equity line of credit bill or the taxes owed till the house is sold
  • how much is a copy of my birth certificate by mail? since i live out of state and have to mail it in.
  • In 2005, my wife at the time called the police said I threatened her. County sheriffs arrested me. She admitted it was a lie. Now almost ten years later I'm in another state, put in for a concealed weapons license and it showed up and I was denied. Was told I could try again in a year. My question, even though not charged can this be removed easy? Note back then I even had a ccw in az.
