  • I'm involved in family court case the mother isn't being cooperative and I may have to file for a default in this case. Is it possible for me to request a copy of the child's birth records to verify the validity of the case prior to filing for a default if she is being resistive to filing a response?

Although she has a guardian, can I pick her up and bring her back with me to live with me in greensboro north carolina if she leaves a note willingly at her assisted living home stating that she left with me by her own choice?
  • My job offer was rescinded after the offer.Reason given was that I was over qualified & would eventually "get an attitude" and have resentment. I was told by the recruiter that I was the only person he interviewed for the position, and the day of my second interview he said "don't blow it" do a good job.I met w/5 other people that day.The whole process took 30 days from start to finish. Recruiter was really complementary of my exp.I am absolutely upset by this behavior.I was offered the job, told to sleep on it & then rescinded when i called to accept. I have been out of work since June.
  • I am currently unemployed and found it very difficult to find work. I'm reaching the end of my rope with all my bills being extremely late and even though I haven't received a notice yet, I'm expecting a foreclosure notice. I would like to talk to an attorney about what my options are at this point. Thanks Alex
  • can an assisted living facility evict some one because of old emails that were sent
  • My case has been "vacated" but still shows up on background checks. Will hiring a lawyer to 'set aside' the felony still be needed...or not? I never received any information that I was even charged with the felony (disorderly conduct). AND - is it possible to have this removed from background checks? Will further expungement/setting aside help at all? thank you!
  • I received my electric bill this month and it was nearly 9 times what I usually pay. I think it was because of the water heater in my apartment. It was malfunctioning and wasn't heating the water correctly for about 2 days, and then it was fixed by the apartment maintenance. I've talked to the landlords at my apartment complex and it seems like they are not going to help me in any way with my electric bill. If it was the water heater, is it fair that I have to pay the electric bill for their water heater malfunctioning and sucking up electricity for 2 days?
  • Can a landlord charge 10% of rent for the move-out walk through and 10% of rent for rekeying of the house for the next renter?
  • In my daughter's divorce decree it states that her ex-husband pay me $3,900.00 at $50.00 per month, they were divorced May of 07. I haven't received a dime, is there a statue of limitations on this?
