Serving Arizona and the New Mexico area with programs designed specifically to meet the communication, accessibility and cultural needs of Deaf, Deafblind and Hard of Hearing persons. Services include; counseling, job training, job placement, translation/interpreting services, case management and other requested service programs. The Community Living program offers 24 hour assisted living options enabling persons with a physical disability to obtain a "home" based on his/her needs and choice.

QUESTIONS

  • I was just enrolled in ahcccs today. I had to go to the emergency room a couple of weeks ago before being enrolled. Will ahcccs help pay for this?
  • I gave birth to my daughter in feb 2019 Approaching her 1st bday D.E.S requested birth certificate & ss card for her health insurance. I went to vital records & they said the hospital never recorded her name. And to change it I'd have to pay $332 at court to amend it. Her birth cert. States her name is (noname) and my ex husband's last name( we divorced in 2014) that is not her father. I remember filing out the forms and giving them time a nurse.I have no money. What can I do? My baby has a heart condition and needs medical assistance.
  • Is a landlord still allowed to charge you full amount of rent if needing to leave the home for more than 1/2 month to fix mold found in walls? I’ve heard that they can however they are responsible for providing you a place to live in while the repairs are being made is that true? Or can a tenant use some of the rent money to provide housing while property is being fixed if landlord refuses to pay for housing. Please help!!
  • I completed probation I never gave up my right to privacy and my old probation officers, basically violated my civil liberties. They leeched my personal business way beyond their fiduciary duties. They Violated my right,and has basically scared me with in the community i grow up in. Is it to late to sue?
