Question: My friend is abused by her mother. She needs help she does not kown what to do there have been multiple times where other had contacted the police and nothing happend. She is 16 and she is thinking about killing her self. She needs help what she/i do. She wants to live with my family and I is that any possibly of happening. The freind email is not her. Im afraid that Her mother her will hurt her.

To report child abuse directly you may call the Arizona Department of Child Safety there number is 1-888-767-2445 or you can visit their website here:https://dcs.az.gov/report-child-abuse-or-neglect. It is possible for an adult to temporarily or permanently become the guardian of a minor. Your parents may want to read the guardianship articles on this site to become more familiar with the process or speak to a guardianship attorney. You may also wish to contact a teacher or counselor at school or trusted adult to help you with this situation as they may be more familiar with resources within your area.
