Child Custody
questions & answers
Question: If I currently have joint custody of my 13 and 17 year old children, and my ex-wife sent them to live with a family member in the same city that I reside in, wouldn't they have to live with me preferably over the other family member?
Answer: If there is an order regarding custody and parenting time, then you are bound by those court orders until a modification (generally by the same court) takes place.
