Question: If a child is emancipated in another state and that state is another age. then moves to AZ is the child considered emancipated in AZ also ?
Answer: Yes. The Full Faith and Credit Clause of the United States Constitution provides that a judgment rendered in one state will be recognized by all other U.S. states. Therefore, if a minor is emancipated in another state, Arizona will also recognize that minor as emancipated.
