Protection Orders

questions & answers

Question: I filed an order of protection a former acquaintance. She in turn went to a different judge and filed one against me. Can she do that? I have proof of her harassment, she got hers with lies. Can I contest it?

Answer: This is provided as information only. If you are in Maricopa County, you can go to http://www.superiorcourt.maricopa.gov/superiorcourt/protectiveordercenter/index.asp and get information on orders of protection and injunctions against harassment. Plaintiff may appeal an order denying a petition for an Order of Protection, Injunction Against Harassment, or an Injunction Against Workplace Harassment.
