Question: Is there an agency that can help prepare a trust? I have a friend that is terminal (still mentally competent) that has not prepared a will or trust. She is on disability and low income.

There are many agencies in Arizona that can help prepare estate planning documents. Modest Means Project provides will and trusts assistance for low income persons. They can be reached at (866) 637-5341.

The AZ Attorney General’s office has also created a Life Care planning packet that assists with the creation of a will. Arizona regulation also provides more information about creating a will or trust account. A.R.S. 36-3261.
