Landlord and Tenant Rights and Responsibilities
questions & answers
Question: If i'm submitting a 30-day notice to my landlord before the end of the month; do I have to pay full rent for the next month? Shouldn't I only pay for the number of days I will be there for the last month?
Answer: The amount of notice a tenant must give the landlord is determined by the contract or lease agreement that is signed by the tenant or renter. If there is no lease A.R.S.33-1314 will control. http://www.azleg.gov/FormatDocument.asp?inDoc=/ars/33/01314.htm&Title=33&DocType=ARS
