Foreclosure
questions & answers
Question: Is the law the same re foreclosure the same for a mobile home? I have vacated the property. Can my wages be garnished?
Answer: A mobile home can be foreclosed on. Laws related to mobile homes can be different than those for real property; however, a mobile home that is being rented or leased is considered a residential rental property and is bound under the same laws, rules, and regulations as any other rental area or home. A.R.S. 33-1901 Wages can be garnished for any amount of money that is owed to a debtor. The amount that is garnished must be based on an amount of money that is owed. A.R.S. 12-1598.03 To find out how the law applies to a specific situation, contact an attorney directly.
