questions & answers
Question: Is it legal for the landlord to make me repair an old water pump in the swimming pool and yes it's in the lease but is it legal
Answer: Under the Arizona Residential Landlord and Tenant Act, the landlord and the tenant of single-family dwelling may agree in advance that the tenant will be responsible for providing certain kinds of maintenance so long as the tenant understands what they are agreeing to and the landlord is not asking the tenant to perform any duty that is necessary to keep the dwelling in a fit and habitable condition (A.R.S. 33-1324(A)).
