My boyfriend was arrested last night for aggravated assault against me. I told the police that he has a history of mental illness and that he needed to go to a psychiatric hospital but they took him to jail anyway. I am not pressing charges but I am afraid the state will. How do I help him get the charge dropped and get mental help?

My estranged wife of 9+ years left me for another man who by her instruction attempted murder on me where I died 2 times that day. She went back to the reservation in AZ where I cannot find her nor do I want to. How do I receive a divorce from her on the grounds of adultery, domestic violence, abandonment and attempted murder. I have an OOP against my ex boyfriend & he is still harassing/stalking me. I contact the police & file my reports. I am going to move back to Wa. state but my lease ends at the end of Dec. 2014. My question is.. can I get out of my lease early without any fines/fees or trouble?

My husband is a insecure controlling emotionally and verbally abusive towards me and his crazy mom. He is an electrician and was only working 6 months a year to get a $6500 tax refund which he would spend on his stuff and buys the kids, under age 10 expensive electronics to keep them happy. He doesn't buy me ---- anymore for the last 5 years. He's telling me that since I'm an unfit mom, take care of kids 24/7 and his mom while to works in Contra Costa County 5 or 6 days a week. Rents a room with relatives $400 a month. His mom pays the $500 rent here from her SSI CK

My husband recently took a plea agreement and though he was signing for disorderly conduct. Once we got the paperwork home it indicates that it is domestic violence. There is also several other items on the form that were not told by us by the prosecutor. Can we appeal? Both "victims" in this case were trying to call an ambulance, not the police. They have both written letters stating that they were never in any danger and told the police that evening when they came. Also, the defendant signed the plea just hours after leaving the hospital.We feel duped into taking this plea.

My boyfriend stole my phone while I was talking to my father. He was angry at me. I walked after him and asked for my phone back, reaching for it. Did I have the legal right to reach and grab for my personal property back?

I plead guilty to Disorderly Conduct DV in Mesa and have to attend 12 hours of Anger Management classes. I was planning on moving to Bullhead City but now I don't know if I can. Does it matter where I take these classes?

I tried to get the order of protection against me on behalf of my daughter quashed and my ex was at the hearing with a lawyer, witnesses, evidence, etc. and I was there with just me and my fiance. Can I file to get another hearing since I didn't know that is what to expect. She filed it and I wasn't there. Why did she get to be there when I was suppose to plea my side?
