QUESTIONS

  • I have a protection order agains my boyfriend. We were never married but he told the police we were. He was allowed to drive my truck but he had to pay truck payment and car insurance. He stopped doing that and without my permission he took the truck to the east coast. He also violated the protection order. No way to contact him and now he getting violation for tolls in New York that I am receiving in the mail. Police will not report it stolen. What can I do?
  • What ramifications can occur if both plaintiff and defendant want to drop the Protection Order and disobeyed the order by getting back together. They are married.
  • I am wondering what this means: 7/28/2015 CAL: NON-WIT PROB REV HRNG 7/1/2015 ADDRESS/PHONE UPDATED 7/1/2015 ORDER: COMM REST GLEN HOUSING 7/1/2015 CAL:TREATMENT CT REMEDIAL-DV 7/1/2015 ARRN HELD 6/4/2015 ORDER: SUMMONS 6/4/2015 DEF FTA'D Its for a domestic Violence case.
  • Injunction against harassment with "no contact" but both parties are in the same school and same classes together. How is the defendant to avoid contact? Is he required to change schools?
  • I have an order of protection against my ex. I have filed for bankruptcy. I have a lawsuit the he filed against me, and I a counter suit against him. I've included his lawsuit against me in my bankruptcy; even though it never went to trial. His attorney wants a deposition with me with his client present - which is whom I have the order of protection against. What are my legal rights to protect myself? I don't want to meet in my attorneys office because I am afraid of this man. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.
  • where do I go yo file a restraining order?
  • I have called sheriff 4 times now on ex wife I'm the victim and she has stole my meds from cvs and my identity and my daughter identity too she filed my taxes got refund and spent it then she got stimulus money too she filed my unemployment and was try to keep my unemployment money what can I sue police dept ? • I am currently going through a divorce, where there is no custody established, and am pregnant. I have been put on strict bedrest. I am trying to move to Nevada where I will have more help from my older children's father and be able to be on bedrest like I'm supposed to. Would I be able to file a petition for relocation with a minor, and temporarily move before the 60 days, without getting in trouble for it. And will it effect how they decide custody. Also, I have a PO against the other parent, and there has been domestic violence toward me and the children during our marriage.
  • I beat up an 18 year old and I'm 15, she's pressing charges what will happen to me?
  • If an order of protection is obtained, and an appeal was rejected. In the even the order is then modified and granted with the modification, does the order of protection get extended? For example: original order granted 11/12/2015, but was modified and granted 2/2/2016 is the new date 2/2/2016 or does remain the date of the original service?
