In the past I have called in the police for help because my husband was hit, pushing or verbal abusing, but there was " never any mark or signs of abuse" so they said they couldn't help me. Las night out of nowhere he started to hit me again and push away some big soda bottles that my daughter and I were working on and did hit my daughter. But ones again I but have that many marks. Can I ask for help?

My fiance and i were in an argument and i called the cops because she pushed me several times. it was a big mistake and i wished i never called them. They came and arrested her. Now she is out and she cannot come home or call me. we have 3 kids together and are torn apart now. Is there anything we can do to get passed this huge mistake? Her trial is a month from now.

I have been in a domestic violence situation for 9 years. We had 3 kids out of wedlock and later on married. He is on the birth certificate but there is no court custody in place. He is also on the child abuse and neglect registry for failing to supervise my daughter properly and has domestic violence charges on his record, I was the victim. Can I relocate to another state with our children legally and not tell him?

My name is Ana, I have 3 children and my ex the father of my 2 younger girls his new girlfriend harassed me in a public parking lot, in front of my 3 children age (5 6,9) will i have to call cps ? Already doing an order of protection. His girlfriend punched me bout 10 times in my head with my children being there. The father was not there, but they both live together. If i placed an order of protection how will that work if my ex the father lives with her? I'm at a total loss.

I have a defiant 17 year old daughter who is violent and verbally abusive. She has even damaged our home by punching holes in the doors and is using drugs. She will not follow any of our rules and basically comes and goes as she pleases. She turns 18 in 5 months, but will not graduate high school until May of next year. Are we still responsible for her until she graduates, or do our responsibilities end once she turns 18? She is causing turmoil and fear within our home and we just don't know what our rights are.

I hired a paralegal to prepare divorce papers, they have not been filed as of yet. We decided on division of property already. I need to know If I can sell items in my half of community assets/property to pay community debt? If not, am I supposed to let house go into foreclosure or my vehicle get repossessed. I do not work due to disability and have no income. Thanks.
