QUESTIONS

  • My daughter left the house and been gone for almost a month now. I know where she is and call her everyday, but she wont answer only txt me saying she don't have to listen or answer to me. She says she is home. I already look like a bad parent letting her be gone that long and feel like i failed as a parent. The friend she stays at i barely know and her mom allows my daughter to be there without even wondering or try to communicate with me. She brought her home a few times that i know of to pick up clothes. What can i do? I want her home.
  • Can a parent kick a child out of the house at 17 6 months and a day?
  • Can a parent emancipate a child and have them removed from the house
  • I have a 17 yr old daughter who has a baby and just moved back with me. She was staying at a friends house for 3 months! She turns 18 in January she is mean to me calls me names and is mean to her brother who has autism! Is there anyway I can make her and her baby move before she turns 18?

  • Im 16 and pregnant.I want to be emancipated, but I feel I may need public assistance such as food stamps and cash assistance because I'm currently unemployed.I also need help finding a place because I'm getting kicked out.Can a pregnant teen become emancipated and get on food stamps and cash assistance/?And is there anyone who can legally help an emancipated pregnant teen find a place of their own?
  • I have a 16 year old daughter who lived with her father and step mother in Arizona while I was recuperating from a heart attack. (I voluntarily gave him temporary custody, and live in a separate state). During the time my daughter lived with them, she was placed on probation. All of the court papers were signed by her step mother, are these documents legal? Does a step parent have the legal right to sign legal papers as a parent or guardian, without being granted guardianship of the child?
  • My stepson, 17 has been convicted in juvenile court of theft. He damaged property and the owners are filing for 6K restitution. His mom has full custody and she works. His dad is disabled and a am unemployed...we cannot afford restitution. We also cannot afford an attorney. Can the 17 year old be ordered to work off the restitution? What are our options when we can't pay?
  • Our 16 year old son became aggressive after a shopping outing and began beating up my wife taking her to the ground. We are wondering what legal options we have since the answer we are getting from all agencies is that we just have to deal with it and work it out ourselves. We are looking for help of any kind including juvenile detention or detainment in a health facility. I am afraid to leave the house if our son is there and afraid of what he might do in the middle of the night since he has uttered death threats.
