QUESTIONS

  • My lease states that 2 adults are allowed to leave in the premises. I had a friend stay with me and my landlord forced me to kicked them out. He said that having somebody else stay with me without his approval meant I broke the lease and he could evict me. I have always paid rent on time and he is enforcing rules with me that he is not enforcing with the other tenants. I can't afford a lawyer and I fell harassed. What are my options?
  • My son passed away June 17, 2016, he was 32 years old. He had never married and had no children. His only asset is a checking account at our local credit union. He had no co owner on the account and did not set up a beneficary. We believe there is under $2000 in the account and would like to close it out and just donate the funds. Since he had no Will and we do not have the money to open probate, is there any other option for us?
  • My mother is now living in a nursing home. She has a $4000 balance left on her ebt food card can i use that?
  • I live in an apartment complex. On July 26th, 2014, there was a storm and a tree planted on the premises fell onto my car. The apartment complex removed it two days later. They claim it was an "act of God", and won't cover the repairs for the damages to my vehicle. My question is this: Would this fall under the provisions in the Arizona Residential Landlord and Tenant Act, section 33-1324, Landlord to maintain fit premises?
  • I got a felony in 2004 in which I was placed on probation all rights were restored exspect the right to bare arms well may of this year my boyfriend was killed there was a gun laying close by his head when I found him I picked up the gun and handed it off so no one could get it now I'm being charged with prohibited is there anyway I can get this dismissed
  • I am the guardian of my 2 grandchildren (their mother is my oldest daughter) she had been in a domestic violence situation with the kids dad (he is in prison until July 2016) she lives with friends, no job, possible drugs. He does drugs and has a new girlfriend pregnant. I do not want either of them to obtain children EVER. What can I do to protect the kids and myself since Arizona tends to want to reunite children and parents. This is not a good idea with either of the biological parents. I love them to much to have them suffer. Guardian since 2010, they are age 9 and 6. suggestions?
  • So, I have a almost 2 year old. I had my rights severed sadly, and I wasn't able to get her birth certificate done at the time. My parents are thankfully adopting her, but I was wondering if I can still have my name as her birth mother, and her biological dad on her birth certificate, that way when she gets older she is able to know that we are her parents. Also, my mother who is adopting my daughter said that, because my parents are adopting her, that her last name will not be under my daughters biological fathers last name, that it will be under my parents last name. Is that correct?
  • Will my beneficiaries’ inheritance be taxed?
  • Can I be evicted for my child being accused of disorderly conduct without going to court first
  • the dishwasher isn't working am i required to fix it?
