QUESTIONS

  • I own a mobile home and rent a lot. I recieved an immediate eviction notice due to criminal acts. My 7 year old son was playing and broke a window on a vacant trailor owned by the park. we did not know until the eviction came. he is the only biracial child gets blamed for EVERYTHING. there is a boy a few doors down who purposely broke out windows on two trailors and set fire to the park grass and he's still here. there are other kids who have vadalized etc and they are still here. where do we go from here? is this discrimination?
  • I have Durable Power of Attorney for my mother who is in a nursing home. Does this obligate me for her debts?
  • I am a condo owner, I live in the unit and rent out my 2nd bedroom to someone. We have a lease, and we have also been working under the agreement that we switch off paying for things that we share, for example paper towels, light bulbs in the common areas, etc. However, she is now refusing to purchase a new furnace filter, saying that is a 'maintenance item' and is my responsibility. I think this falls under the 'damages due to negligence' clause in the lease. I plan to take the cost of the filters out of her last month's rent and her lease-end date be moved up accordingly. Is that legal?
  • How long can I stay in my home after the eviction judgement if I file a timely Appeal?
  • Is marijuana legal now if I have a chronic back pain?
  • What recourse do you have when a judge (new /inexperienced) makes a horrible nonsensical decision on child support payments, arrears in support, health insurance responsibility, massive medical bill responsibility, and all issues went against the custodial mother all responsibility was placed on the mother and no consequences were bestowed upon the dead beat father whatsoever ( the fact that no support had been paid for an entire year not medical bills either was ignored by the judge). The judge ignored the proof the attorney presented and sided with the dead beat. No support continues to date
  • Can a phoenix police officer go into a courtroom and serve an order of protection, since the person is already there.
  • Guy gets nailed with low level felony (literally weakest felony). First offense, so judge says no jail time if person commits to probation, drug tests, anger management. Problem is guy decides to leave the state, violating probation etc. Cops come w/ warrant but no dice. After 10 years he wants to come back to AZ. Question: If cops get wind that he's back can he get arrested? Can he possess any weapons of any kind? What about those samurai swords people hang on the wall for decoration? Can he be charged for something like that under these circumstances. Thanks.
  • I was put into foster care when I was 8, and during that time my biological mothers rights were severed. I was adopted when I was 12, and love my family. My biological mother has contacted my numerous times after the agency leaked my last name. I am trying to figure out if it is legal for her to have any contact with me what so ever? I do not want to hear from her. She is NOT my mother and I want nothing to do with her.
  • I'm the father and I have a drug problem, I'm temporarily moving to Utah to go to rehab and be with family. Is there a form I can file proving I'm not abandoning my son in case she files for custody?
