  • A customer wrote us a check for services rendered and then stopped payment on it. We provided the service and they paid with a check. They never said that there was a problem with the work but the check was returned to us "stop payment". What is our recourse in this matter? Thank You, Phyllis
  • I am 19 years old and I have a 13 year old sister. We have the same mother but different dads. Her dad is an alcoholic and our mom is homeless and uses drugs. I want to gain custody of my sister. My mom will probably fight me on this. How do I go about getting custody of my sister?

  • We are renting our townhouse in another city in Arizona. We signed a 1 year lease with our tenant. The lease currently came up for renewal. Our tenant wanted to go month to month. We were not willing to do so, but said we were willing to shorten the new lease to 6 months. The tenant said (on the phone) that that would work for her. We drafted a renewal page, mailed it to her to sign. we included a prepaid, self addressed envelope. It has been several weeks, we have not received the signed renewal agreement yet We have called several times and she does not answer/return calls What should we do
  • I have received a 14/30 day letter to fix an electrical issue which I am trying to address. I am also trying to sell my mobile home. There is now a broken sewer line that runs under my home which is part of the park infrastructure. They are refusing to fix and said they would fix it I sell my home. No prudent buyer wants a home with now water/sewer. What do I do?
  • My mother passed away about 3 years ago. When she did, my father gave my brother a verbal guardianship. They never had the papers filled out or anything, and now I have to fill out things like FAFSA and my college that I plan to attend requires proof of legal guardianship. My dad lives in a different state. Is there a way around this?
