  • I moved into an apartment complex nearly 6 months ago. 2 months ago they announced they will no longer accept payments at the office and the only choice is to use their online app or pay cash at a local Walmart. This was not in the lease when i signed it. The amount due is already pre applied on the app. 2 months of payments are submitted, no record on my account 2-4 days after the 1st. 3rd payment due, is less and unable to 'edit' for correction. I took screen shots of the process and says paid. No payment due for 27 days. I emailed the office about it.can they charge me fees for the error

The notice says "Medical Lein" Is this legal? They are being paid by the company and they also want to collect from us? The letter says I should submit a claim to my home owners insurance. Help?   • My grandfather passed away 3years ago. his stepson had a quit claim deed signed with my grandfathers signature the same day he died, my grandfather suffered from alzheimers & dementia. there was no will found. But i'm wondering is there anything that can be done he obviously forged my grandfather's signature to keep his property.
  • My lease states that we are responsible for the "care and maintenance" of the appliances, the glass stove top broke during normal use and the landlord is requesting that we pay for it. If the appliance breaks under normal use, is that our fault? Are we responsible for it under "care and maintenance" ?
  • Car accident where both parties are found at fault, me 30%, them 70%. They are NOW (6 months later) suing for 28 grand of injury present and future costs. Their insurance paid me very little but did pay 5 grand for my totaled truck worth about 15 grand. I only had liability and their lawyers letter states they are suing me personally since my insurance wont help cover anything. He had no injuries at all at the accident, walked around waiting for police, talking on his cell. He went to the doctor 2 days later according to his lawyer. Can I really be liable for 28 grand? Do I need lawyer?
