My child who I have custody of due to taking his mother to court for mental heath reasons. With that being said I have taken the paternity with it saying I’m the father, which I knew. what do I do now to get my name on my sons birth certificate. I have his birth certificate with me. His mother will not agreee to sign the necessary paperwork for me to be added onto his birth certificate. What packet would I need to go down to the court and get this case started. The end result is be put on the birth certificate and proceed to change his last name to mine bc mother is not present / active.

My apartment maintenance man flooded our apartment with toilet water. They did no cleanup. They did dry carpet and replace small area of carpet pad. We now have mold. They denied it till got inspection. Now want to transfer us but make us reapply and pay deposits. What can we legally do?

A paternity test was completed by DDC and now I need to file however it states we need an affidavit from the mothers legal husband as she was and still is legally married, problem is he cannot be found last we knew hes a heroin addict living on the streets or possibly in prison. What can I do to file without an affidavit from him under these circumstances.
