I need proof of benefits recieved for an application for utility assistance. Where or who can give me a total benefit amount recieved?

Can a parent file for custody for children in the state where they live or do they have to file in the state where the children live?

i currently live in a mobile home with my 3 children. I had a water leak in my kitchen that got repaired for outside, now the inside of my home smells like mold, and my bathroom floor is caving in. I have sent numerous of work orders and nothing has been completed. Do I have the right to withhold rent until damages are fixed?

My father in law had a stroke in April of 2013 and has been unable to pay his credit card debts including a home equity line of credit through State Farm. He owns a home here here in Phx but has since been relocated to be with other family members in Napa, Ca. in a group home. He receives his usual SS benefits and a small pension of $120 per month, he is also getting his aid and attendance from the V.A. The problem is this, all of his benefits go to his care and he is unable to pay his credit card debts. Since he is no longer living here we are paying his house payment along with the State Farm home equity line of credit since that is like a second mortgage I believe. My question is how do we keep the house in the family and eliminate his credit card debt? which is probably around $20,000. The house doesn't have any equity in it or if it does, it's not much. I recently moved into a condo and i signed a lease and she accepted payment and I moved in. Then a few days later she came to me and told me I need to get out because she had found out about an old landlord who gave me a bad review. I didnt lie on my application i gave her two years back even thou she asked for five. she didnt say anything about it and approved my application. Does she have any right to evict me?

Landlord has given me a 5 day notice to vacate. I want this to be resolved in court as soon as possible. My questions is can the landlord wait more then the 5 days to file with the court? Could he wait to file 2 weeks? Is there a point where the notice is not a valid 5 day notice?

I have been raising my step-son since he was three. Me and my husband broke up. My step-son is 14 now. He wants to live with the only mom hes ever known. Hes only a child. D.N.A. doesn't matter to him. Do I have any rights? Any advice would be helpful.
