QUESTIONS

  • I pay child support in Arizona. Can the custodial parent receiving the support moved to another state?
  • I need some help to understand if I have a case to pursue legal action: I was in an accident 9/26/15: my car was hit by a truck. The driver of the truck was not the owner of the truck. It has been a struggle to navigate through the insurance(s). I did get my car fixed and owner of the truck's insurance paid for repairs, and my chiropractor bills are pending... my insurance paid for the $500 we paid out of pocket, and my rental car. The remaining item open is "diminished value" - they offered $250 for my 2008 Lexus ES350 (under 50K miles), but I need advice to settle or pursue legal action
  • Is there a percentage limit which a landlord can raise rent when a lease is up?
  • I am noticably disabled and live in a crime free.multi housing complex. There are several tenants who have either used a sharpie to change the expiration on their placards, have expired placards, or who simply park in the few disabled spots available. I have made the manager aware of these continual incidents, and was told that if they had any kind of placard or plate;(regardless of it's status), that the apartment management had no recourse. Is this accurate? If not, what can I do to see that this ADA accomadation is enforced properly?
  • Over the weekend my apartment flooded but not just water. Feces flooded both showers and kitchen into the entries of the bedrooms, actual pieces of feces are seen floating around. Management is only going to get the carpets cleaned. I have never experienced this and seeking advice. I strongly feel the carpet needs to be replaced. Its feces! not just water flood. I have kids as well playing and running around on the floors. I feel disgusted at this point. Please Help!!

  • I cohabitated with my domestic partner (DP) age 54 for 16 years.  To our friends and co-workers, we were a married couple.  Then, five years ago, my DP started a sexual relationship with a female co-worker, age 28.  The affair took on a whole new situation four years ago when she gave birth to a baby girl.  When teh baby was approximately six months old, I wanted to meet the child because my DP and I had remained together.  As it turned out, I fell in love with her as the months and years rolled by and, for the most part, my DP, the child, and I were a happy family on visiting days.  Nine weeks ago, he moved with her.  Can I ask for vistation in court?
