  • A 16 year old is arrested for possession of stolen vehicle and evading police. Released to parents, 1st offense. Owner of vehicle will not press charges. What is expected? Thank You
  • I have fallen victim to someone who has taken most of my money and who has promised to pay me back so I can have monthly income. He will not and I think he is leaving the state. I cannot afford food even and I can't afford a lawyer. Is there a DA I can talk to or some organization that can help me?

  • I had a DUI in 2005. I thought everything was done. In 2014 the court issued a warrant for my arrest ( I found out because they suspended my concealed weapons license ) .I called the city court and they said it was over a DUI in 2005. I went to court , and the judge said I did not do 36 hours of alcohol treatment. I had receipts for traffic school, MADD school, level 1 school . The attorney I had, when I called him, said that a retired judge was going back thru all the DUI cases because Tucson was broke and was trying to get more money from everybody. Is this legal after 9 years?
  • My mother passed away, she had health problems including altered mine status and my brother sold my mothers cows and kept the money. The family had a meeting soon after the sale and asked him to put the money in an account to help with her medical and care expenses. Again after her death, he was asked to put the money into the account so it can be probated properly to all her heirs and he has not do so. Is this a case of elderly abuse by my bother and it is her money should it be probated to heirs.
  • Is it required to give a receipt for rent when a payment is made ? I was told by the complex employee where I reside in, does not have to give me a receipt, and they only take money orders, is this practice ok ?
  • Landlord has given me a 5 day notice to vacate. I want this to be resolved in court as soon as possible. My questions is can the landlord wait more then the 5 days to file with the court? Could he wait to file 2 weeks? Is there a point where the notice is not a valid 5 day notice?

Our lease is up but we had intended to renew. Now I'm afraid to live here. We were supposed to give a 2 months notice if we moved out. Do we still have to give that much notice?
