QUESTIONS

  • I was convicted of a non dangerous sex offense back in 1984. Was a level 1 till I got convicted of failure to register in 2001. That changed my level 2. I dont understand, since the original crime was non dangerous and the second felony was a technical crime, that now I am dangerous. Is there any hope for any of the non-dangerous sex offenders getting off the registery? This would open time and money to monitor the actual dangerous sex offenders.
  • Is it a breach of contract if apartment says they have ac when really its a chiller.
  • I have submitted notice on 7/28/17 that we would be non-renewing our lease and it would end, as stated in our lease, on 9/12/17. This provided excess of 30 days notice as required. They did not respond until today, 8/7/17. When we moved in, our rent for Sept '16 (9/13 - 9/30) was prorated. In our notice, I stated we would be paying the pro-rated amount of our rent due on 9/1 for the 12 days we will be occupying the apartment. The management let us know that our lease will end on 9/12, but we are responsible for the entire month of Sept. rent. I am unsure. I have communicated with them by e-mail because I wanted to document it.
  • I have been seperated from my husband for 2 years, he lives in Mexico we have 2 children, I am aware that he cannot offer anything for my children, I just want the divorce, How can this work out being that we married in Nevada and resided there throughout our marriage, I have been living in Az since he was deported 2 years ago, What procedures do I need to follow since he lives in Mexico?
  • Can a landlord make you pay for the removal of bed bugs when you did not bring them in. They came in from another Apt. In the building. Other apts have them.
  • My ex is doing this to our son. Where can I get help? The judge doesn't see my side of this and there was significant domestic violence in our marriage. The judge has granted my ex custody and he is a dangerous alcoholic. My daughter, his step daughter is so afraid for her little brother because she knows 1st hand what her step-father is capable of yet the judge won't let her in the court room. My ex is extremely good at conning and manipulating the system and has the judge fooled. I don't know what to do and now I can't even see our son. What can I do?
  • What needs to happen to get a divorce decree modified as to custody. What are the determining factors - proof of immediate danger to the children? For instance I hate the guy my ex married and I think hes a terrible guy - he had a questionable past including a short time in jail. Is that enough to modify custody?
  • My RV park closed the pool and hot tub. Don’t the chemicals in both of these kill the COVID -19 ? I can go in river , why not my pool which is safer?
  • My decree states that my ex-husband has supervised visitation. The person who was supervising was my mother, who recently passed away. There is no other family member or friend that can do the supervising. We have tried to have me supervise but we end up fighting during the visit. Will the court supervise or is there a program that will supervise?
  • I would like to do a will. Do I need to hire a lawyer to do it for me?
