The person moved in on The 7th and because he hadn't meet the owner wanted a full refund stating I fluently rented it, yet still is occupying the space as of today and refuses to turn in keys or move her things. She signed a month to month lease on July 7th. Do I owe her the money back and if not how do I get her out?

  • I move into apt Oct 7, The move in date was set by them month in advance, I been waiting for a apt. They gave me a costsheet with the correct move in date, it had the monthly rent would be, what I am responsible for, deposits, fees, and summary of movein total. It also stated what paid by tenant and proof need for move in such as electric acct number. We both signed it and it required two cashier checks and listed the amount. Nothing changed. once move in they audit and found out they calculated the prorated days wrong. Now they want more money. I budgeted using their form

  • Hoping I picked the right category. In January of this year (2017) I received a 1099-C from the bank cancelation of debt from a Home Equity Line. Does the bank need to release the lien or deed that was recorded when the HEL was established? How do I know they truely forgave the debt or if there is still some backdoor for them to collect should I sell or refi the home? I only received the 1099-C nothing else. And at the Maricopa recorders office no release was recorded. What do I need to do to have them release it. Is there a time frame that the bank is required to file a release?
