  • Home I was renting was forclosed on and Purchased on short sale. When my lease was up my landlord gave me a 45 day notice to move. Now they want me to pay 4300 for redoing the house. The house was not in good shape when I moved in. I cleaned the carpet when I moved. Now couple of the charges are professional carpet cleaning, deep carpet cleaning, de order carpet, cabnets, counter tops, doors replacement. I was in the home 7 years. They want me to pay for them to redo home so they can sell. There was nothing wrong with these things they replace. One door had shifted. were and tear. Help

  • I’ve been renting my condo for a year and a half. For the past 8 months we have experienced flooding issues when it rains. My landlord replaced the carpet but since it keeps flooding and now it smells awful like mold.   • I owned a house in 2005- when everything boomed it was way overpriced and there was a 1st and a 2nd. I went through a divorce and lost the home as it was upside down. It went into foresclosure and I never heard another word. This now 2019 and I received a letter in the mail saying the 2nd mortgage wants to settle with me for $5000 on a $92,000 note from that house- that was 13 years ago! Can they even do that? My house was upside down and then foreclosed on and sold.
  • Have Lived at the same complex for the past 3 years. The complex has new owners for the past several months. Old management used to give me (at my request) a copy of my check with the stamp and /or signature of received. Deadline to pay the rent is the 3rd of each month. Now the new management refuses to hand me a receipt before the 4th of the month. My question is, where is the proof that I handed the check to them in time to avoid late fees? There lot of rumors among neighbors that they are trying to scare people out to renovate more units and raise the rent. What are my rights? Thank you.
  • I am the guardian of my 2 grandchildren (their mother is my oldest daughter) she had been in a domestic violence situation with the kids dad (he is in prison until July 2016) she lives with friends, no job, possible drugs. He does drugs and has a new girlfriend pregnant. I do not want either of them to obtain children EVER. What can I do to protect the kids and myself since Arizona tends to want to reunite children and parents. This is not a good idea with either of the biological parents.
