  • I am a victim of attempted murder and the person who tried to kill me set my home on fire. It has been a month and the landlord have not started any repairs. What are my rights I have reported it to housing preservation and no one has contacted me. What are my rights and what do I do next?

I told them to first meet the request's of the lease and then it will be paid. I had full rent $400.00. Utilities are separate from rent. Can they still refuse my rent payment for space? And what are my rights if lease is unlawful?
  • Section 33-1319 , part D states that single family homes are excluded from provisitons of this section (bed bug provisions). I own one condo which has an adjoining wall to another condo I do not own. Does this condo count as single family, since I have no control over the other unit?
